So I’m at this party in Oslo (as you do) and on my arrival, everyone is very pleased to get the opportunity to practice their English. They open their mouths, and suddenly you’re in Brisbane. Seems it’s a very common thing for Norwegians to go to Australia to study for a year.
But at this party, it’s pointed out to me that one of the people in the room was none other than Nicolai Herzog. No, I hadn’t heard of him either. But I was impressed when I learned he was a world champion at Magic The Gathering.
So I got out the camera and decided to interview Nicolai in case he had any tips for Jake (and me).

MTG is a strategy collector card game that Jake and I used to play a lot and still have a lot of cards. Occasionally we get a game together and it’s great fun. Really quite intricate when you get into it. It’s the Bridge of the fantasy gaming world. And there are world championships and Pro Tours.
This is riveting stuff if you’re a complete geek, a 15 year-old boy or both. Otherwise, don’t bother.

How are you finding Vimeo?
I’m not 100% on it yet. I’m using it because it was highly recommended by a couple of the guys at the BBC Music and Audio Interactive department when I was there last week. I don’t like the font it plasters over your video, and I have friends who use Viddler instead.
But it’s certainly far better quality than YouTube…
